Lucea Road upgrade to improve airport travel and support tourism – Works Minister

Residents, businesses and airport-bound travellers using the Montego Bay-Lucea-Negril corridor will soon have a more comfortable commute with rehabilitation works slated for Seaview Drive, in Hanover.
Works Minister Robert Morgan says preparatory works are underway, and primary construction is expected to begin on Monday, October 5.
He notes that the works are important as delays through Lucea can sometimes be as long as two hours.
This results in missed flights at the airport, as well as disrupted daily commutes and commercial activity.
Mr. Morgan emphasised the importance of continued coordination and clear public information throughout the construction period.
