JCF tightens event security after Big Wall shooting

The recent shooting incident involving podcaster Jaii Frais and members of 450’s entourage and management has prompted the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) to reinforce safety requirements as part of the event permit process.

According to the JCF, restrictions on firearms at entertainment venues will soon be implemented as part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety.

Reports indicate that a physical altercation between patrons escalated into gunfire, leaving three persons injured.

Jaii Frais was among those shot. One individual was treated and released into police custody, while two others remain hospitalized. Two firearms were seized.

The JCF also confirmed that another man has been taken into custody, with his identity being withheld pending further investigation.
