Truck driver urges caution and for motorists to obey road rules after 2 dead along Spur Tree this morning
Two people are dead after the motor truck they were travelling in veered off the Spur Tree Hill main road in Manchester this morning.
Their identities have not been released, but one is male, and the other is female.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 5 AM.
Reports are that the truck, laden with cement, ran off the road after the driver lost control.
District officer at the Mandeville Fire Station, Trevor Robinson, said firefighters were alerted to the scene.
He said the two injured occupants were found and taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a truck driver who says he traverses the thoroughfare often is urging other motorists to exercise extreme caution and obey the road code.
