The 12-year-old boy who was allegedly wounded by his schoolmate at a school in St. Ann on Wednesday is reportedly recovering well.

IRIE FM News was told that the boy who was hit in the head with a metal chair returned normal medical test results.

Health officials say he is expected to be discharged from hospital soon.

Police say the boy’s 13-year-old attacker was taken into custody
