11 new classrooms officially opened at Holmwood Technical High
Eleven (11) newly constructed classrooms were opened at the Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester, today.
The school received an expansion of its facilities with the classrooms being supported by a staff room, and restrooms on four floors.
The access to the four story building has also been made disability friendly with an elevator.
The school community welcomed the opening of the classroom block completed at a cost of $192 million.
It was funded by the government and the project was managed by the National Education Trust.
Principal Hidran McKulsky noted that the classrooms are properly ventilated.
He also highlighted a fire system which has been installed throughout the building.
