Tesha Miller gang trial resumes today
The gang trial of Tesha Miller and his 24 co-accused was off to a late start this morning, as the matter resumed in the Home Circuit Division of the Supreme Court.
The long-awaited trial commenced last Wednesday, with Miller pleading not guilty to being the leader of a criminal organisation.
Miller and his co-accused are alleged to have carried out criminal activities, including murder, in several parishes.
Last Thursday, there was an early adjournment after one of the accused men fell ill.
The judge then requested that all the defendants get medical attention.
After commencing this morning, the trial took a break, as the judge sought confirmation on whether or not the defendant, who was ill, was fit to continue in the trial today.
