The National Works Agency (NWA) says rehabilitation works will be carried out on the Mount Carey to Montpellier roadway in St. James, in short order.

NWA’s Communications and Customer Services Manager Stephen Shaw says since the passage of Hurricane Melissa, the agency has received a number of complaints about the condition of the road.

Noting that the roadway is a significant thoroughfare, Mr Shaw said the works will begin soon.

He said the NWA is committed to making the travel experience of road users better.
