Manchester councillors want NWA to revise Mandeville traffic system
Councillors in Manchester are calling on the National Works Agency (NWA) to revise the Greater Mandeville Traffic Improvement System amid congestion concerns two years after its implementation.
On Thursday, the councillors questioned the logic of the traffic changes, as they claim that the Mandeville town centre is being congested because of them.
Mayor of Mmandeville Donovan Mitchell said a delivery schedule is to be formulated, following a meeting with the police and NWA.
Mayor Mitchell underscored that the changes were not according to recommendations from the municipal corporation.
Meantime, councillor for the Bellefield division Mario Mitchell said the traffic congestion affects productivity.
