This weekend’s Wray and Nephew Fight Night will carry added significance, as the Jamaica Boxing Association (JBA) uses its final event of the 2025 series to support boxers, their families and communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa, according to JBA president Stephen ‘Bomber’ Jones.

According to Jones, Saturday’s card at the Constant Spring Football Complex will serve not only as a showcase of Jamaican boxing talent, but also as a platform for meaningful assistance during a difficult period.

Jones shared the update while speaking on Irie FM’s weekly sports talk show What’s the Score on Monday.

Jones also urged patrons to contribute directly to the recovery efforts.

Saturday’s event features a 10-fight line-up headlined by three professional bouts. The main event will see Juzier “Iron Man” Heron square off against the Dominican Republic’s Jonaury Moreta in a super welterweight showdown.

The card also includes a light heavyweight contest between Jermaine Bowen of I-Fight Promotions and Julio Guerrero, along with a highly anticipated match-up between debutantes Daniel Hylton of Hit-Box Gym and Demar Haslam of the Stanley Couch Gym.
