Silk Boss reacts after Reggae Boyz miss automatic World Cup spot
Entertainer Silk Boss was visibly upset, even stuttering at times, after Jamaica failed to secure automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup following a nil-all draw with Curaçao at the National Stadium last night.
During an Instagram Live, Silk Boss, who noted that his father Rohan Reid was one of the greatest midfielders ever, had some colourful words for the coach vented his frustration after the disappointing result.
However, all is not lost for Jamaica. It has been 27 years since the Reggae Boyz last qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 1998, but there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
Although they missed direct qualification, Jamaica finished as one of the two best second place teams across the three groups, earning a spot in the inter confederation playoff in March next year where they may possibly face Suriname and Iraq.
