More than 540 million Jamaican dollars has been donated to the Government’s official disaster relief platform.

Director General of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management, ODPEM, Commander Alvin Gayle said this is a reflection of the compassion of the Jamaican people and the donor community.

He thanked the citizens in the most affected areas for their patience as ODPEM continues to assist those who need it most.
