Agriculture Minister Floyd Green says $3 billion has been ear-marked to provide emergency recovery for the sector, following Hurricane Melissa.

450-million-dollars from the remaining production incentive programme is being redirected to emergency recovery.

The Agriculture Minister says farmers will be assisted with land preparation, free of cost.

Mr. Green was speaking in parliament yesterday.
