Transport Minister Daryl Vaz says citizens will continue to have free access to toll roads during the immediate Hurricane Melissa recovery period.

Barriers were lifted across tolled highways, days before Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica.

Minister Vaz said the toll will remain open to allow free movement of traffic and to allow persons to check on their families, businesses and properties.
