There has been no report of injury among first responders working across the island in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

That update was given by Deputy Chairman of the National Disaster Risk Management Council, Desmond McKenzie.

Mr. McKenzie, who was speaking during a special press briefing this morning, noted that the first responders are doing well and are working continuously to help those in need.
