As Jamaica braces for Hurricane Melissa, now a Category 5 system expected to make landfall by tonight, Mr. Vegas is urging residents in flood-prone areas to evacuate using the buses provided by the government.

The Dancehall artist cautioned Jamaicans to take the warnings seriously and avoid being stubborn, noting that any blame or finger-pointing can wait until after the storm.

Mr. Vegas also shared that he’s grateful to be in Jamaica at this time so he can assist if needed.
