All STATIN workers who conducted the 2022 population and housing census have been paid.

The update was given by Statistical Institute of Jamaica Director General, Ms. Leesha Delatie Budair during a press briefing yesterday.

The matter stems from issues with the data processing to include workers not submitting data for verification.

STATIN had acknowledged having challenges, adding that payments were being made in parts.

Several workers had expressed frustration with having to wait months for payment.

Yesterday confirmation came that all payments have been settled.
