The Jamaica Trade Board Limited says ongoing challenges with the Jamaica Single Window for Trade (JSWIFT) platform have delayed the processing of import permit applications.

As a result, some applications have not been approved within the standard turnaround time of three working days.

The Trade Board states that JSWIFT’s technical team at the Jamaica Customs Agency is working to resolve the issue and restore full functionality at the earliest possible time.
