Petrojam says IDT issued a back to work order for lab technicians who took industrial action yesterday
Petrojam says the Industrial Disputes Tribunal (IDT ) has issued a back to work order for some of the company’s laboratory technicians.
The order was issued last night.
A statement from the state owned petroleum refining company, says the technicians who are members of the Petroleum Workers Association took industrial action yesterday
That Union is an affiliate of the Union of Clerical, Administrative, and Supervisory Employees (UCASE).
According to Petrojam, the IDT having heard from the company’s lawyers, ordered the immediate cessation of industrial action and directed the laboratory technicians scheduled for the 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. shift today to resume duties and all other shifts thereafter.
The statement did not say what led to the industrial action.
