A fisherman is suspected to have drowned at Treasure Beach in St. Elizabeth yesterday.

Dead is 30-year-old Damian Davis from Great Bay District in Pedro Plain.

Reports are that about midday, Davis went to sea with another person, and the boat they were in, capsized.

It’s reported that Davis got into difficulties and drowned.

He was brought to shore and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing.
