Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Aubyn Hill has highlighted the link between the stability of Jamaica’s dollar and inflation management, referring to it as a competitive advantage.
He said the stability of the Jamaican dollar is not just a symbol of economic resilience, but also a direct result of disciplined monetary policy and inflation control.
He pointed out that this currency stability, boosts investor confidence and improves Jamaica’s ability to compete on both the regional and international stages.
Mr. Hill was speaking at the Agri-Business Investment Forum and Exhibition in St. James.
