PNP dispels rumour that it plans to stage protest ahead of today’s swearing-in ceremony for PM designate Dr. Holness

The People’s National Party (PNP) has sought to dispel a rumour that it plans to stage an election protest ahead of the swearing-in ceremony for Prime Minister designate, Dr. Andrew Holness this afternoon.

The rumour surfaced at the weekend and has been spread by several users of the social media platform X.

Speaking with IRIE FM News, PNP General Secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell explained that despite having concerns with the September 3 general election the PNP will always put Jamaica first.

He said the party is a true patriot and that its leader, Mark Golding, will be present at Dr. Holness’ swearing-in ceremony.
