DPP Paula Llewellyn highlights digitization efforts of her office as she gets set to demit the post
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Paula Llewellyn says through the digitization of records, her office,is closer to ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency.
Speaking at the opening of the Home Circuit Court’s Michaelmas term, Ms. Llewellyn who will demit the post this Friday said the office of the DPP has taken steps to digitize its system.
She said this will enable more accurate records adding that she hopes her successor will continue the work.
Meanwhile, Ms. Llewellyn has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the nation for 17 years as DPP, and over 40 years as a prosecutor.
Ms. Llewellyn made history as the first female and longest-serving Director of Public Prosecutions in Jamaica’s history.
