The St. Thomas Municipal Corporation plans to rename St. George’s Street in Morant Bay in honor of Toni-Ann Singh, the parish’s very own Miss World.

Social media has been buzzing over the announcement, with fans praising the decision. “Deserving,” one user wrote, while another exclaimed, “Yes, Queen tings!”

Toni-Ann made history in 2019 as the fourth Jamaican woman to win the Miss World title and went on to become the longest-reigning Miss World in the pageant’s history.
