Police High Command says it is deeply saddened by death of policeman in Manchester crash

The Police High Command says it is deeply saddened by the death of Sergeant Patrick Brown, who was killed in a crash along the Winston Jones Highway in Mandeville, Manchester, yesterday.
Sergeant Brown was attached to the Manchester Division’s Operations Support Team.
Reports are that at about 2:30 PM, the officer was driving a silver Honda Fit motorcar when it collided with a truck transporting cattle on the highway.
Sergeant Brown, who was travelling with his twin children at the time of the incident, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
His children remain under medical care.
In a release yesterday, the JCF said in this difficult moment, its thoughts and prayers are with Sergeant Brown’s loved ones, colleagues and friends.
It said to provide immediate support, the Chaplaincy Services Branch, the Welfare Division and the Police Federation have been mobilised and are actively engaging with the family and affected colleagues.
