Golding dismisses claims PNP will end all government programmes
Opposition Leader Mark Golding has stated that the next People’s National Party (PNP) government would not discontinue all current government programmes.
He made the statement at a press conference hosted by the PNP yesterday.
Mr. Golding said that the notion is absolute nonsense.
He argued that some of the existing programmes were created by the People’s National Party.
He said a PNP government would not do anything that would negatively impact the quality of life of Jamaicans.
He was supported by Spokesperson on Finance Julian Robinson, who noted that the PNP may have to do supplementary budgets if elected.
