Opposition says JLP’s election manifesto was not well-thought out and has promises that are unrealistic
The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) says the ruling Jamaica Labour Party (JLP’s) election manifesto was not well-thought out, and has promises that are unrealistic.
The JLP manifesto titled “I Choose Jamaica, The New Chapter,” was launched at the party’s mass rally, in Montego Bay, St. James yesterday.
It has 110 pages.
Speaking with IRIE FM News this morning, PNP Campaign Spokesperson, Donna Scott-Mottley claims that the JLP continues to focus on plans which have been advanced by the PNP.
Mrs. Scott-Mottley also said she is not confident that the JLP will keep the promises, outlined in its manifesto.
She pointed to promises contained in a previous JLP manifesto, which remain unfulfilled.
