A gang-free Jamaica is among promises by the JLP if it wins the September 3 General Election
A gang-free Jamaica is among things the Jamaica Labour Party aims to achieve if it wins the September 3 General Election.
The party’s plans for the country were revealed at a mass rally in Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay, St. James yesterday.
They were contained in the document titled — I Choose Jamaica: The Next Chapter.
IRIE FM News also received a copy of the 109-page document.
Plans for primary health care reform, income tax relief for senior citizens, increased minimum wage, strong and fair anti-corruption oversight bodies, flexi work for family and productivity are also outlined.
Speaking at the launch, Chairman of the Manifesto Committee Kamina Johnson Smith said the manifesto intends to build on the party’s achievements over the last 9 years.
