PNP says JLP’s decision to release its manifesto at a mass rally in St. James shows that the Holness led party does not cater to all citizens
The People’s National Party says the Jamaica Labour Party’s decision to release its manifesto at a mass rally in St. James on Sunday shows that the Holness led party does not cater to all citizens.
The JLP announced the location for the manifesto release during a press briefing yesterday, and noted that this will be the first time that a manifesto is launched outside of Kingston.
However, the PNP has criticized this decision.
Speaking at a PNP press briefing today Vice President and Campaign Spokesperson Donna Scott Mottley suggested that the JLP’s manifesto is for the party’s supporters and not for all Jamaicans.
She said the PNP’s manifesto on the other hand was done for the people of Jamaica.
The Vice President reiterated that part 2 of the PNP’s manifesto will soon be launched.
She again accused the JLP of stealing the PNP’s ideas.
