Lawyers representing senior People’s National Party member KD Knight have filed a defamation suit against Jamaica Labour Party Campaign Chairman Dr. Christopher Tufton, in relation to the playing of an audio at the recent JLP rally.

The attorneys claim that the manipulated audio recording was reportedly of their client speaking disparagingly  of Opposition Leader and PNP President Mark Golding.

They had demanded that Dr Tufton apologise but the campaign chairman did not. 

Attorney at law Bert Samuels told Irie FM News that the lawsuit was filed this morning.
