St. Elizabeth man seen in Tik Tok video making politically related threats, charged
A St. Elizabeth man, seen in a social media video making politically related threats, has been charged.
He is a 40-year-old vendor, Giovannie Skeen, otherwise called ‘Mother Love,’ of Balaclava.
Reports are that at about 2:00 p.m on Monday August 18, skeen posted a video to Tik Tok, threatening violence, if the political party and candidate he supports lose the upcoming general election.
According to the police, Skeen was captured on video uttering the words, “if we no win, we ago turn the world inna Haiti, pure big matic and rifle” and “me wi murder people fi me party”.
Skeen was nabbed yesterday during a targeted operation in his community.
He is charged with use of audiovisual communication to promote violence.
Skeen’s court date is being finalised.
