PNP says all its candidates were nominated successfully today
The People’s National Party (PNP) says all its candidates were nominated successfully today.
In a statement this afternoon, General Secretary Dr. Dayton Campbell, said while there were challenges in a few constituencies, it was a generally smooth process.
According to Dr. Campbell, today’s nominations mark the beginning of the final leg of the party’s journey toward victory.
And Party President Mark Golding hailed the day as a powerful demonstration of the party’s readiness.
He said the party confirmed a full slate of outstanding candidates- men and women of integrity, vision, and commitment to service.
Mr. Golding said the candidates represent the very best of the party’s movement, adding that the PNP is united, energised, and determined to deliver a Government that prioritises fairness, opportunity, and dignity for every Jamaican.”
A statement from the PNP detailed that the nomination day proceedings were filled with vibrant, peaceful demonstrations of support from thousands of supporters across the country, reflecting the growing momentum and energy of the party.
The PNP said with energy, confidence, and the full backing of the people, it is firmly set to contest the September 3 general election and to deliver a Government that will put the Jamaican people first.
