PNP Leader Mark Golding officially nominated to contest general election for St. Andrew South
President of the People’s National Party Mark Golding has been officially nominated to contest the general election for the St. Andrew South Constituency.
Mr. Golding was nominated at the Lyndhurst Methodist Church at 10 this morning.
Speaking to reporters following his nomination, Mr. Golding expressed confidence in the upcoming polls but said he will not take the electorate for granted.
In addition to seeking reelection, Mr. Golding is also campaigning to be Prime Minister for the first time.
He said, though this election will be different for him, he remains encouraged.
Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness is expected to be nominated between 12:30 and 1 pm.
