Reggae Girls one of six pre-seeded teams for upcoming draw of Concacaf Women’s World Cup qualifiers  

Jamaica’s Reggae Girls have been named as one of the six pre-seeded teams for the upcoming draw of the Concacaf Women’s World Cup qualifiers . 

Gunning for a third Fifa Women’s World Cup appearance the Jamaicans joins  Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Haiti and El-Salvador as the other pre-seeded teams in the draw set for August 20. 

The four pots feature the other 24 teams in the region vying for a place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, with Trinidad and  Tobago, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guyana , Cuba and Bermuda in pot 1. 

Pot two features: Belize, Guatemala, Suriname, Nicaragua, Antigua and Barbuda along with Curacao. 

Over in pot three, there is Honduras, Aruba, St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Barbados and Dominica, while pot four includes Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Virgin Islands, The Cayman Islands, Anguilla and The Turks and Caicos Island. 

Brail will host the 10th installment of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 for the first time, from June 24 to July 25 , also becoming the first ever South American host nation of the tournament. 

Spain are the defending champions.
