School children and tertiary students with identification cards will enjoy free transportation under the state-owned Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) when the school year starts in September. 

It is among several announcements from Prime Minister and Jamaica Labour Party leader, Dr. Andrew Holness, at a mass rally in Half-Way-Tree, St. Andrew last evening. 

Dr. Holness said the free transportation will continue until October.
