Warner Brown switches to Mount Pleasant from Arnett
Jamaica Premier League runners-up Mount Peasant is continuing to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Concacaf Caribbean Cup which gets underway next month.
This, with the acquisition of the former Arnett Gardens marksman Warner Brown, who topped the goal scoring chart last season with 22 goals.
Brown who has 10 caps for Jamaica after making his international debut earlier this year has so far scored four international goals.
His short-term contract, which Irie FM Sports understands ends at the end of the year ahead of heading off to Belgium, will see him joining other recent acquisitions, Daniel St Fleur and Rapha Intervil from Haitian club Real Hope, Renaldo Biggs of Racing, and Kemar Foster from Waterhouse.
Mount Pleasant is also set to lose several players, including goalkeeper Shaquan Davis, who will be heading off to Belgium as well.
Mount Pleasant will open the Concacaf Caribbean Club schedule on August 19 against the Surinamese team SV Robinhood at the National Stadium at 7pm.
