Family clings to hope as Kingston man remains missing since last Wednesday

The family of a Kingston man who went missing last Wednesday is clinging to hope that he will return home.

36-year-old Andrew Hylton of Campbell’s Boulevard, Kingston has been missing since Wednesday July 16.

Reports from the Half-Way-Tree Police are that at about 7:20 A.M., Hylton was last seen at home.

At the time he went missing, he was wearing a blue T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of brown shoes.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

His family members and friends are praying for his safe return.

Kadeisha Johnson-Hylton, wife of Andrew Hylton, said the last time she heard from her husband was on the morning of July 16 when she arrived at work.

She said her husband had dropped off their child at the baby sitter before going to work.

She said she raised an alarm, when he did not return home and after multiple calls to his cellular phone went unanswered.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hylton’s brother, Gary Hylton, said his brother did not show up for work that morning.

He said the family is extremely worried but remains hopeful.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Andrew Hylton is being asked to contact the Half-Way-Tree police at 876-926-8184, the 119 police emergency number, or the nearest police station.
