Industry players get ready to bid farewell to music producer, Calibud

Friends, family and the music industry will bid final farewell later this month to music producer and audio engineer Sheldon Stewart also known as Calibud.

An Instagram post shared by Dancehall artiste, Spragga Benz stated that a service celebrating the life of the late music producer will be held on July 26 at the Fellowship Tabernacle at 2 Fairfield Avenue in Kingston.

Calibud died on June 30 in New York while undergoing treatment for cancer. He was the stepson of the late music producer, Bobby Digital.

Calibud made a name for himself as head of his Cali Bud label, creating one-drop reggae and cultural music. His legacy includes QQ’s Betta Mus Come, Warrior King’s Never Go Where Pagans Go, I Burn by Bushman and Buju Banton’s Mr. Nine
