Reggae artiste Leroy Gibbons is dead.

IRIE FM understands he collapsed in Hanover this morning.

In confirming the news, a stunned King Jammy told IRIE FM that Gibbons collapsed at a studio in Hanover. This, as the Legendary Producer reflected on their close friendship.

According to sources, Gibbons in recent times had struggled with respiratory issues.

Gibbons last appeared on IRIE FM, on the entertainment programme What’s The Scoop on October 7, 2017.

He is known for songs such as ‘Magic Moment’, ‘Samfie Girl’, ‘Missing You’ among others.
