MOCA to benefit from technological transformation being undertaken within JCF; those involved in corruption warned to leave that business
The significant technological transformation being undertaken within the Jamaica Constabulary Force will prove beneficial to the Major Organised Crime & Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA).
Technological advancements include increased CCTV surveillance, digitisation of records, biometric identification and real-time information access.
Speaking with IRIE FM News, MOCA’s Director General, Colonel (ret’d) Desmond Edwards, says these improvements will augur well for the anti-corruption agency, as it also continues on a path of transformation.
Therefore, Edwards is issuing a warning to those who choose to participate in major organised crimes and corruption-related activities.
He says the time has come for them to leave that business.
In the meantime, he has sought to assure persons who wish to report incidents of corruption that they will not be exposed if they do so.
