The People’s National Party, (PNP) has vowed to re-launch the Stay Alert mobile app if it forms the next government.

The Stay Alert mobile app allowed for real time emergency alerts, and direct access to assistance.

It was introduced years ago by the Ministry of National Security, but was reportedly discontinued, due to the costs exceeding the benefits, as well as other issues.

Speaking during the PNP’s Youth Rally in Westmoreland yesterday Opposition Spokesperson on Information Nekeisha Burchell stressed that the app can help many Jamaican women.
