The People’s National Party (PNP) has pledged that steps will be taken to transform the Horace Clarke High School in Islington, St. Mary, into the Horace Clarke Centre of Excellence for Technical, Vocational, Education and Training.

PNP Candidate for Central St. Mary, Omar Newell, made the promise during a recent Constituency tour and campaign launch.

Newell noted that the change will represent the fulfilment of the PNP’s commitment to enhancing education.

He also noted that a recording studio will be established to help the youth and continue the parish’s musical legacy.
