Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness, says the Jamaica Constabulary Force has seized 459 illegal guns so far this year, compared to the 377 seized during the same period in 2024.

Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party Conference in South Central St. Catherine last night, Dr. Holness issued a warning to persons who continue to choose a life of crime and violence.

He urged them to transition to a more positive lifestyle or face the consequences.

Dr. Holness also noted that when crime goes down, criminals and their loved ones also benefit.
