Police name two persons of interest in relation to fiery protest in Grants Pen
The police have listed 2 men as persons of interest in relation to a flare of up violence in the Grants Pen Community in Kingston.
They are Dujohn Walker otherwise called ‘Man-a-forty, and a man known only by his aliases Busha or Bin Laden.
The police claim that these men may be responsible for what has been deemed unnecessary mayhem.
This in the wake of yesterday’s fiery protest by upset residents of Grants Pen.
The protest was about the fatal shooting of a man by the police during an alleged confrontation.
Dead is 23-year-old Jadean Gooden also called six of Grants Pen Drive.
Assistant Commissioner of Police and Head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) Dr. Gary Mckenzie, said the roadblock that was mounted at the intersection of Markland Avenue and Grants Pen Drive in St. Andrew was later cleared.
ACP Mckenzie is urging the 2 men being sought, to surrender to the police immediately.
