The case against dancehall artiste Kiprich was today postponed to September 19, 2025.
Kiprich, whose real name is Marlon Plunkett, is charged with use of audio and audio-visual communication to promote criminal activity.
But when he appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court today, the case was postponed due to the file being incomplete. This, due to a report from the Police’s Communication Forensic Cybercrime Division being outstanding.
He is being represented by attorney – at – law, Patrick Peterkin.
The charges stem from an incident in February, where he was alleged to have recorded a dubplate for a promoter, endorsing gang violence and the One Order Gang. He was subsequently charged and granted station bail. He denies the allegations.
