Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says two more operating theatres will be established at the National Chest Hospital. 

Currently, the St. Andrew-based health facility has been operating with only one theatre. 

During a tour of the facility yesterday, Dr. Tufton noted that the existing theatre facilitates an average of 80 surgeries, monthly. 

He said the expansion project is long overdue. 

Dr. Tufton said there are plans to do other upgrades at the hospital.
