Five people were arrested and two firearms seized during an operation in Manchester this morning.

17 rounds of ammunition were also seized.

Operations Officer Deputy Superintendent Luhas Daniels said the targetted raids were carried out in Greenvale and Cumberland.

He said the operation continues.
