Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton says that of the 3.2 million visits made to public healthcare facilities last year, there was no report of a bad experience.

He made the revelation during the launch of Nurses Week in Kingston yesterday.

Noting that one negative story can undermine confidence in the entire profession, Dr. Tufton urged nurses to be steadfast in offering compassionate care.

Nurses Week 2025 is being celebrated under the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future, Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies”.
