Bounty Killer supports PM’s announcement of $2M reward for information in teen’s murder

Bounty Killer, who also goes by the moniker, Mr. Jamaica has added his voice to the many Jamaicans calling for criminals to be held accountable.

The Poor People’s Governor took to social media last evening to share a screenshot of a newspaper article featuring a headline about Prime Minister Andrew Holness’ announcement of a $2 million reward for information in the murder of a 14-year-old girl who was shot in the head during a drive-by shooting in Olympic Way over two weeks ago.
Bounty’s post was accompanied by the sounds of his 2008 track Social Responsibility, which speaks to society taking responsibility for declining morals, crime and a myriad of other issues. In his caption, he wrote that he co-signs the Prime Minister’s initiative, writing in part Mr. Jamaica supports this, people and country first, enough is enough.

Bounty’s post has sparked conversation among fans and followers, with many lauding the dancehall heavyweight for his continuous advocacy for social justice, while encouraging other artistes to use their influence to promote positive change.
