Opposition accuses Gov’t of not reinvesting money earned from tourism in communities that contribute to industry
Opposition Spokesperson on Tourism, Senator Janice Allen, is accusing the Government of not reinvesting money earned from tourism in communities that contribute to the industry.
Senator Allen made the claim while addressing supporters at the People’s National Party’s Welcome Hall Divisional Conference in Southern St. James last night.
She stressed that the business of tourism impacts the lives of too many Jamaicans for it to be taken lightly.
Senator Allen said citizens need a Government that will ensure that Jamaica retains at least 60 cents of every dollar earned in the tourism sector.
