Journalists encouraged to participate in UNESCO’s World Press Freedom Day Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence

With just days to go, Journalists around the world are being encouraged to register and participate in UNESCO’s annual Global Conference to mark World Press Freedom Day.
World Press Freedom Day is being observed tomorrow, Saturday May 3 and the Conference is set for May 5 – 7 in Brussels, Belgium.
It is being held under the thought – provoking theme “Reporting in the Brave New World: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Press Freedom and the Media.”
According to UNESCO, they will “explore the transformative power of AI in media, engage with global experts and innovators and tackle critical challenges at the intersection of technology and press freedom.”
UNESCO adds that a one – day signature global event will take place on May 7.
